For people who still can't compete their dex, it's really not that hard. I just wonder traded till I had 3 boxes of bankmons which I used to help trade for starters, bred 5 boxes of Tepigs and Mudkips and then started trading for all the bankmons I needed. Once you've got enough bankmons just deposit a starter for something you need, look for another dex entry and trade away completed lines/final evolved form, check your deposit, receive and repeat.
Use your Villvion to trade for any of the legendaries and then start the chain in
