I spent a week breeding for a shiny pentagon Smeargle named Fonzi, who is now my bro.

I tried to use him in Doubles with Dark Void and a Dream Eater Gengar but I lost fucking 8 times in a row to shitty OU broken teams against 1,800+ rating Japs with teams of all-shiny legendaries.

I was trying to be fair, but now I just use a fucking prankster Liepard alongside him, and I follow up with M-Kanga and Aegislash.

If you're using a 6IV ditto that was obtained in an illegitimate fashion, you're still cheating. The Pokemon made are legit. Still cheating though.

You hit a gray line when you get it from someone else but we both know that whoever had it got it from cheating as well.

If you generate the pokemon entirely, they are cheated. Yes, even if you're good and they are legit by all checks.

Where are you getting that number?
In the safari, 2 IVs are perfect and IVs vary from 0-31.
The calculation is just 1/(32^4), which is 1/1,048,576

I don't feel all that bad using it because I mostly breed UU mons with it that I don't feel bad about using.

I'm still going to call out the fucking Genners with 1800+ ratings and teams full of 6IV shiny legendaries.

I honestly don't know how my __gf__ can tolerate this kind of shittery: she is a fucking saint. She runs a mostly-UU mono Dark team online and has fun playing against hacked shiny teams-- even in losing 5 times in a row.

I wish I could have fun losing. ;-;

when I did RNG for the legendaries in gen 4/5 I would get shiny frames just because I could, though. I'm having more fun breeding everything in gen 6.

I also completely wrecked this japanese guy with all shiny legends + lobster mega gyara too
On a team I usually have zero shinies or one that I really like.

Pic related stops volt switchers cold amazingly and I have fun annoying people with it.

I've bred for the Male mons to cover each egg group, basically take about an hour to get any mon you want (except genderless ones) with egg moves, first find a male mon with the right nature breed with random crap filler from your living dex till you get a female, then breed that female with right nature with a mon with the egg moves you want till you get a female, then boom use one of your stored up hexaperfect males and you have what you want in 1-2 boxes of eggs, as long as you check every female as it hatches and upgrade the female your currently using. Can't wait till next gen when all my work getting these males pay off as they'll have a different ID number then me.

And I honestly don't care if people genned their pokemon or not. What I hate is not how they got their pokemon but which pokemon they use. I would rather fight someone with an original full shiny genned team than a legit breeded OU the team.

If you're playing on cartridges, the advice on Smogon means precisely fuckall. Practically nothing there is written for 3v3, Doubles, Triples or VGC 2014 which are your only ranked options. It could be that people are discussing fighting randomers, in which case the battle means nothing.

If you're using generic mons, so what? Bred or genned, it makes no difference, although the argument could be made that genners will have more time to spend getting good rather than cycling up and down Route 7. Why are people so offended at seeing Garchomp?
