So /vp/, I'm gonna be entering a pokemon vidya tournament soon, but I haven't got a single pokemon besides swampert for it. Anybody got any ideas for what I should have on my team?
Or maybe pokegen me something to use?

My friend got me to enter, perhaps I'll just back out then now that you mention it. Competitive isn't really for me, I can't breed 600 eggs just for perfect ivs and nature.

First off, is the tournament a grassroots tournament or is it a sanctioned tournamnt?

Second, if it's a grassroots tournament are the organizers using the VGC 2013-2014 ruleset?

swampert is a nice tanky physical tank, but i wouldnt make him the center of your team. You say you dont have any idea for what the rest of your team will be, as well. Would you prefer a set up lead that boosts your team (screens/weather) or one that harms your enemy? (entry hazards/status)
the pic says they are following smogon rules, but they only ban the big legendaries. will you be using pokemon that smogon called uber? if not mega kangaskhan and mega gengar are still broken.

If you really want to seriously try competitive, to Smogon. /vp/ is shit at discussing competitive. They even have that stuff called the Apprentice Program. On /vp/, you'd get LURK MOAR of an answer.

Sweden sure is a great country to be a nerd. Either you enter tournies with 99% of the teams consisting of 6 cloned Mewtwos, or you get nothing at all.
