so uh, is every legendary from here on out going to be shiny locked? the fact that even the kanto legends are shiny locked in this game tells a lot

assuming this is the case, good or bad thing?

Why would this possibly be a good thing?

I'm guessing it's part of GF's grandiose plan to only make certain Pokémon available at distributions that never come to the west.

This. I hate that some events don't last until the next games come. Gen V events should have remained active until at least a month or two after Gen VI came out but that might tie up the Internet like PokeBank did.

I saw a shiny Mewtwo on the GTS before Pokebank was released in Japan, so I'm pretty sure not all legendaries are shiny locked.

In black and white only Reshiram and Zekrom are, everything else can be SR for.

That's because Reshiram, Zekrom and Victini started it all. They're the first legendary Pokemon to be locked from being shiny. In-game, anyway. Can't speak on the ones through Wi-Fi events.

I personally believe all legendaries should be shiny locked, legendaries are already supposed to be considered more special than regular mons.
