Hi /vp/,

Just soft reset a few times in my Y file and caught this Yveltal:

31/xx/31/31/18/29, Timid in a Premier Ball.

IV calculators say the Atk stat is estimated at 2-3!

Is there any interest in this? Should I clone a bunch or are there any 4-5IV Timids that are better than this one floating around?

Just gauging for now.

this. the whole point of having timid over modest is to outspeed as much mons as possible, so 31 is necessary in speed, unless you're going for a specific hidden power

Yve is in a speed tier higher than all legendaries (99 base). It won't hurt that much to be missing 2-3 Speed, he would speed tie Genesect but you're nuts if you want to keep it in against it anyways.

So the general consensus is no! Guess it will be a trophy in my box T_T

30 Speed is acceptable, considering nobody actually plays at Lv. 100 on a cartridge, but you could do better than you have now.

My Yveltal is Modest and has 31 in HP, SPA, SPD and SPE.

Which is totally fine, because its signature moves are special. You can make it mixed if you want but you're kind of fucking stupid if you do.

30 is indistinguishable from 31 at Lvl 50. In-game, it's irrelevant because nobody plays at Lvl 100.

Secondly, Yveltal is a mixed attacker whose main redeeming asset is STAB+Dark Aura Sucker Punch, which is the strongest Sucker Punch in the game; a handy thing to have in Uber. Noentheless, Timid isn't a horrible nature (you could just use Dark Pulse) but now you're basically restricted to Choice Scarf if you want to outspeed anything.

I'm actually breeding a ton of Synchronize Ralts to catch Yveltal right now because Jesus H Christ is it a pain in the arse to catch it, then fight red beard man, then wait through cut scenes and bullshit, then check the nature/stats. Hopefully this will cut it down a bit.

I was gonna use a Luxury Ball but then realised that there was no good ball for Xerneas, and my spergtastic nature cannot allow that. So Premier Balls all round it is.
