its base 90 speed is pretty middling, so it needs all the help it can get to outrun stuff, and base 125 sp att invested on an unboosted nature is plenty strong enough to hit its intended targets.

run natty cure though, its moveset doesn't favor technician in the least

I would say no because you an do something like rest to get full health back and switch out to get rid of status with natural cure. With technician the only benefit is HP fire is a pseudo flamethrower, and magical leaf i believe.

...unless you want to use hidden abilitiy technician Roserade, who doesn't have the movepool to properly utilize it (Perhaps Hidden power and Weather ball)

nah. roserade is pretty frail on the physical side (60 hp/55 def?), so it's not going to be able to do anything more than spread poison to 1 opposing mon (and not even toxic poison so it's a whatever), and at 30% chance to proc it's not reliable in the least

natural cure at least increases roserade's longevity

Hidden Power Fire/Rock/Ice and Magical Leaf are the only good moves Roserade can use with Technician, and it can do much better with a Natural Cure Giga Drain/Sleep Powder/Sludge Bomb/Filler(Shadow Ball for coverage, Leaf Storm for nuking, Spikes for hazard, etc.).

I run HP fire and it's very useful. Ferrothorn is pretty much a free switch in without it. It's also useful for killing excadrill without having to run leaf storm. I beat mawile with sleep powder (to dodge sucker punch) + HP fire too.

I like Sludge bomb, giga drain, HP fire, and sleep powder with a life orb.
