I feel you on the silence. For me, it's just the kind of hobby that never ages and always has something new to discover.

I actually found a really creepy abandoned house covered in mad ravings and macabre paint on the walls. The floor was covered in trash and old VHS pornography, and there was a picture of a man playing with two children in a clothe's hamper during what looked like a time when the house had been a brighter and happier place. It was on a workbench in the kitchen (strange place to put it) and covered in oxidized bloody Xacto razors.

I brought a friend of mine there later on and we found records of people who'd lived there like yearbooks and a planner, and he identified a blockbuster card that belonged to an old classmate of his just sitting on the floor in the basement of the house... shit was chilling.

I really wish there were more places for UrbEx around where I live. All we ever get is abandoned houses with sinks left on and shit smeared on the walls. It's heart breaking.

Relatedly, a friend of mine has been talking about driving up to an abandoned school that's a couple hour's drive from here, but supposedly was the meeting place of a cult for a couple years. Might go this spring break. Should be fun.

That's our big issue too. The place is a little secluded, tucked away in the mountains halfway between two little towns on either side of the pass where the place is. There's no spot to park where we wouldn't be spotted, so we've decided to park at the base of a trail that goes to the top of the mountain that the school backs up to and hike to the place. It's all going to be very exciting, but being approx. 12 miles from our car and heading into a long abandoned facility that once housed a cult is making us all a little nervous. We'll be carrying weapons of course, as well as cigarettes and booze for any bums we might find who could get aggressive, but the possibility of running into some legitimate loonies is still pretty scary.
But, I digress. If we do end up going, we're all bringing our cameras, and I'll be sure to post anything we find to /x/. Keep an eye out.

Hey, style thread. Might as well show off the improved outfit.

This is the end result of swapping out shirts thanks to Queen... what's her face's suggestions in the last thread I was in. I'm really fond of the look over all now, though the hat does feel like it's out of place. But I don't like beanies too much and baseball caps are eh. I don't really know what else to do about it. Hat off option when?

I noticed that the previous incarnation almost had a colour for every main series game I've played. Red for Ruby and Y, green patch for Emerald, Black cap for Black/2. Suppose this one adds gold at the expense of Ruby and Y.

But if I tried to represent each one it'd be a mess. So I won't.

Well the girls do have a lot more options style wise. I'm not really one for fashion myself but when customisation is an option I don't mind throwing together something that looks good.

A task that's nigh impossible for boys in this game with the limited selection. Especially when factoring in your personal tastes. You either ignore what you like in favour of something that matches, or try to make what you like work with little success.

I got lucky with my outfit, but I know there's a few things I've bought that I wanted to try working into an outfit to no avail. Sucks man.
