It seems like the more you hit a Darmanitan, the more excited and angrier it gets, but it instead just curls up like a bitch.

I really wish it could be viable, it would offer so many shenanigans. It needs to function more like stance change so that you could exploit it more, something like

>Darmanitan used Flare Blitz
>Opponent used X
>Darmanitan shifted to Zen Mode
>Darmanitan used Overheat
>Darmanitan bulks whatever they use
>Darmanitan shifted back to it's original form!
>Darmanitan used Flare Blitz!

I love using it's normal variant, but it only uses one move with a sheer force boost, and I feel like it could do so much more with Zen Mode.

They should have changed Zen Mode so that it functions like Aegislash's Stance Change. If he uses a special move he switches to ZM, if he uses a physical attack he switches back to normal.

Or a Special Move that switches it between its forms. It could be called like Trance or something.

Move: Trance, Status Move. Reduces user's damage for one turn by 50%.
