Help with my sticky /vp/!
"Welcome to /vp/ Trainers. Here we welcome you to join a thread or discussion that meets your interests. If Said thread does not exists feel free to make one but please refrain from making a thread that has to do with the following:
1. Asking for FC with specific pokemon. (there is always a WFC thread, you can go there.)
2. Asking "This is my pokemon, how can i make him better or my team better" (Again, there is always a thread to help with team composition and constructive criticism.)
3. Begging threads, or asking for specific pokemon trades. (Always a thread for that, shiny pokemon and battle ready pokemon)
4. Do not make a thread requesting info you can find in here. You will piss your fellow trainers off. While we will be happy to help answer questions, please do some research on your own and refrain from basic questions that can be found in this sticky such as
"How do i breed a perfect iv pokemon?"
"Why wont this breed with that"
"Can you tell me why this pokemon isn't good?"
and etc.

Here is a list of some helpful sites and what they help with.
For help with looking up a pokemons stats, movepool, evolution table and anything else go to:
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Main_Page

For walkthroughs, news and new to the game, FAQ's such as "What is EV training?" Or "What are IV's and hidden abilities and how to a breed them into new pokemon?" go to:
http://www.serebii.net/index2.shtml

For detailed metagame Competitive battle Strategies, EV spreads, and tournament play ideas go to
http://www.smogon.com/

Youtube is also VERY helpful with learning how to breed and figuring out other questions you may have.
More than likely your answer can be found on google as well, but it is understandable if something more obscure or a specific and situation based questions may not be found.

I will post some info guides on breeding and other FAQ's. But remember to please lurk and research as much on your own as you can before asking a question."
