smogon: The team doesn't hold much on wifi where there's no evasion clause, sleep clause, and no band on moody. while kids tend to have counters against it at time because of their random teams, smogon are 100% rapred by those with no mercy.

Again, nope. Charizard-X has a nearly unresisted stab and a tough-claws +1 Outrage from Xard will do more damage than a +1 Outrage Life orb from Salamence

Dragonite is literally only 1 att point weaker than Salamence, plus it can safely set up on the face of almost anything thanks to Multiscale.

Ok, look at that team.
Now think, how do you counter that? 2 Ice weaknesses, 2 Fighting weaknesses, two ground weaknesses...
Remove Mawile or Rotom and that team falls apart in one turn. It doesn't help that it's revenge killed as a whole by Genesect but Rotom. Talonflame gives hell to that team too. And don't even get me started about fairies.
That's not OU: the team. OU: the team is OU: the team because it is actually competent. That team is a mix of 6 OU that have a relatively poor synergy so no competent player should have trouble taking it down.

It has two good counters but that wont stop it from revenging the dragons, ferro and the waifu.
U-turn will do a number to TTar. Rotom is a cockblock for Rotom, but as I said, remove Rotom and that team disappears completely.
It's a poorly constructed team.

+2 sucker punch OHKOs talonflame, Flare Blitz doesn't have priority, and Banded Brave Bird is a 3HKO on Mawile IIRC.

Garhcomp can also survive one brave bird, Talonflame can't survive Outrage or Stone Edge.

Salamence gets wrecked though. He's the only real flaw with that team.

The thing is you don't manually switch into those. The idea is revenge killing them, so they're already weakened as you come in. As long as Rotom is alive, it's kinda hard to r kill with Talonflame, but once it's dead it stops the sweepers pretty hard.

Let's make a team quickly. I'm using Landorus T, Azumarill, Heatran, Talonflame, Genesect, Keldeo. Ok, a poor team, but there's just no way I can lose against that. Maybe I'll have trouble switching Talonflame in if it sets up rocks, but that's about it.

Mawile still wrecks Talonflame unless it's a defensive will-o-wisp set. Seriously, Talonflame is really bad at revenge killing Mawile. +2 Play Rough will also OHKO, so Swords Dance sets only have a 50/50 shot at taking it out.

I'm not saying your criticism of the team is bad, but it doesn't have as much a problem with Talonflame as you're saying. Talonflame is also quad weak to stealth rock, that alone makes it hard to be devastating against a lot of teams.

Yeah, I know Talonflame is bad at revenging mawile, as I personally use Mawile too, but Mawile isn't good at taking down talonflame unless it has set up, or it has rocks up. In any of those cases, Talonflame fails to kill mawile.
Anyways, maybe it's not as weak to Talonflame, but it's still a poor team.

Learn to use NU an UU pokemon that fill niches & then mesh them with OU pokemon. OU pokemon are OU because they are staple and do what they do well, they should not comprise your entire team. Want an easy solution, get a Mienshao.

Not exactly the spongiest solution, but High Jump Kick instantly KOs most Megakhans that aren't Lax, Impish, Relaxed or Bold and have at least 172 EVs in Defence, and since most MegaMoms aren't exactly known for a defensive inclination, the chances that you'll encounter one are unlikely.

Provided HJK hits, anyway.
