Mostly all of gen 4 since all of the cries in that gen were basically "LOOK AT ALL THE COOL SOUNDS WE CAN MAKE YOUR DS DO"

gen 6 had a much different sound base, basically GF had to remake all of the cries.

starting around gen 4 the old electronic cries were starting to sound VERY out of place alongside the newer stuff (especially since to this day gen 4 pokemon have the most complex cries).

I will admit most legendaries sound better now, but almost every single other poke sounds like an 8 year old played with the cries on his daddy's MacBook pro.
