I'm pretty sure they just said fuck you to the mega Evolution plot of the movie

The whole reveal of Diancie for me is just so disappointing. The movie was originally going to be Yveltal VS Xerneas with Megas by their side, now we have Diancie who has seemingly no relation to any of the original plot and is just there because of tradition.

It should've just got its own movie and let this first XY movie be what it was originally gonna be about

Sure they're probably related SOMEHOW, but Carbink isn't going to evolve into Diancie or Mega Evolve into it or any shit.
