Then I played today. First problem was other people with trick room teams, and their Pokemon were way slower than the ones I chose. OK, back to the drawing board.
Also I don't know how to deal with my Trick Room not getting off.
Basically my experience so far has been reaching 1200s and then getting knocked back to 1100s, rinse and repeat.
