Mawile was your typical "pokemon people like because of its design but with a fatal flaw in battle." Kangaskhan had its own fanbase, too. Plus... again, assumptions, but Kangaskhan's mega is a bit different than everybody else. It didn't get more EXTREEEEME, it took the baby out. It makes me wonder if Kangaskhan's design led to its mega more than anything else.
Perfect world, I'd love if Relicanth got one before pretty much any other one though.
