>>18022462I completely agree with this anon. Fairy-type completely messed up the Pokemon balance. Fairy type is probably the hugest bitch to ever be added into Pokemon. Now, I understand that Dragon-types (and to some extent), Fighting-types were great pokemon, and generally had really good stats, I don't think that it was necessary to introduce a new type just to counter all 3 at once, while having extremely specific weaknesses.
Now, yes, Poison and Steel needed the buffs, but they're already poor types offensive types to begin with. Poison-types are generally very frail, and don't have very good offensive moves (there are VERY few pokemon that get Gunk Shot), and Steel type is just extremely poor offensively, being resisted by more types (Electric, Fire, Steel, and Water) than it's super effective against (Fairy, Ice, and Rock). Name me one Pokemon that can at least do competently against every other type, AND very type, at the same time. The only answers are probably Scizor and Genesect, the latter of which is probably going to be banned forever to Ubers.
