So if you just set the PID to the same as your X/Y game, make it an egg, then send it through the transfer shit, it should come out as a kalos native shiny, right?

I think you misunderstand what a PID is anon.

A pokemon's PID is unique to its IVs, nature, gender, and I think species.

Generation 4's PID was calculated differently than 5's, but it can still be calculated.

We have no way of knowing what a Pokemon's PID is supposed to be in generation 6, so getting it just right is difficult. Even if you did, the PID isn't what determines and sets a flag for a pokemon to have the little pentagon. The flag for that is some trash byte that GF determined.

You're mostly right, but;
Gen5 PID doesn't mean shit to IV's (and gender only matters on about 4 pokemon)
Also there's 2 ways of knowing what PID you need in gen6, either by using a shiny spinda with the proper nature/ability, and by having your old info from instacheck still available.
