If I organised a /vp/ pokemon Doubles tournament, who would be interested? It would be a a Doubles competition in Flat Rules, which is item clause, banning of "special" pokemon (box legendaries and some event legends) and bringing a team of six but picking four.
Games are played best of three, with battle replays to prove you won.
You'd get your matchups in your e-mail and will have three~ days to play your game.
Tournament can be either a classic double elimination or Nintendo-style swiss-rounds with a top cut or whatever else challonge has.

There won't be sleep/evasion/other smogon clauses unless demand is really high. Might consider banning Dark Void Smeargle since it is a very cheese strategy, but it depends on what everyone thinks.
