As always, I fail to see what new features they could add. I'm never able to guess what they're going to add next. However, the features they just introduced still feel incomplete. They could partially fix it for whatever the follow up to X/Y is. Primarily, we need more Megas, if they won't give all pokes their own Mega, since that is what I think should happen. The other one has to do with the Amie, in that I think the idea behind it and the happiness mechanic seem redundant. I know they're not the same, but I am saying they're the same idea: being good to your pokemon. This would require quite an overhaul since there's a lot of pokes that use happiness to evolve, and there's two moves based on it. I still feel it could easily be replaced to work off of the Amie. What about Espeon/Umbreon/Sylveon? Note that Sylveon still needs to know a Fairy move other than being Amie'd. The last one is something I that I wish would happen, but probably never will, and that is for there to be a reworking of the evo methods to iron out all the junk that only exists because it didn't exist in previous generations. Just retcon the whole deal, we don't need to preserve the old ways simply because you're too lazy to reprogram it. Along with this, reorder the dex or change how it's presented so that all evo lines are grouped together and the pokes that are the same species, but are only separate entries due to the limitations of the time, can now be a single entry. True, this means it would have to constantly be changed from that point forward should new evos/pre evos be made, but every gen retcons everything to begin with, so why not just cut out all the hoopla and update everything.
