Anon, why?
Such typing would require Gallade to have a unique ability just to be able to make use of something more than Pley Rough. Simply giving regular Gallade a useful ability would make him more viable.

Just because a handful of Gardefags go around shouting "Lel Psychic/Fairy is sooooo OP and Psychic/Fighting is sooooo shit!", such a retype wouldn't help Gallade with his stats.

Plus, Gallade embodies the physical split of the family - so it doesn't sound that uncanny that he would cast away fancy majicks upon evolving.
