>>18047691>The pokémon just stayed there for your own sake doing nothing, I rather have them being free until they're needed. Plus, the list is quicker and it's cool to meet people in a bar. They stayed there because they liked it. And since they were not there, the game did not have cool artwork like Mt.Moonview, Crater, Furnace Desert, etc., and lacked a lot of great music.
There should have been a compromise between the friend areas and the list, rather than dropping the friend areas entirely.
>But there's a dojo in Explorers. There is? Maybe my memory is bad then. What Pokemon was in charge of it? I think Makuhita was a perect fit in Rescue Team.
>And wether some characters were more fun than others is subjectiveOf course. Do I have to put "it is just my opinion!" every time I state my opinion? I just liked characters like Pelipper, who brought you a farewell letter, the "that kid" Dugtrio and his son, the old guy Whiscash, the stupid Mankeys, etc. I enjoyed them more than most of the cast in Explorers, except Wigglytuff and Bidoof.
>They share the same format (which is a given, else it be a different game) and similar act structure but that doesn't make them the same, at all. You're full of shit.Yes, and because it was all so similar, I wasn't so invested in most of the stuff that was going on. The ending was very devestating, yes. But while bawling a little, I was also like "Well, I've seen all this before."
And like I said, I didn't like the plot of Pokemon games since gen 4, when some guy wanted to turn himself into god or something. It felt over the top and unfitting ever since. And I got the same vibes from Explorers. Suddenly it was all about time travel and cosmic evil and shit like that. In Rescue Team there were some good guys and some bad guys, but all of them had a specific personality and more or less believable reasons for their behaviour. In Explorers there were jsut downright evil pokes.
