Aside from Volcarona, there are 3 other pokemon in OU that are 4x weak to Stealth Rock.

One is a regional bird, one is bug/flying and one has Charizard in its name.

A Pokemon with "Kangaskhan" in its name was found to be too strong for OU.
Terrakion and Keldeo aren't being used enough to be considered OU. Same goes for Landorus-I and Manaphy.
Bisharp and Mandibuzz are powerhouses of attack and defense, respectively.
Dark is a good type, both on offense and defense.

Hey, to be fair, Knock Off always had utility. Just not STAB capability that you could justify running on sweepers.
On topic, Cloyster is a premier offensive threat and Sableye is something you have to prepare for in OU unless you want to get your shit slapped by it.

Both of those were as true in gen V as they are now. And neither one is as threatening as you make them seem to be.

Also, to 1st generation players: Psychic will be arguably the worst type in the game, far behind Bug and Poison.
Scolipede is too strong for UU, but Salamence probably isn't.

It was more referring to gen 3 or 4, where they were both terribad. Also, explosion is a terrible move and a dragon with 147 base attack and 97 base speed is UU.

The most centralizing Pokemon in OU is a regional bird with 81 attack

Charizard is one of the best Pokemon in OU, along with Pinsir.

Mawile has the highest attack of anything.

Manaphy, Kyu-B, Terrakion, Keldeo, Latias, Landorus-I, Thundurus-T, and others are UU and had to be put in BL.

it still blows my mind that Talonflame is THAT good with base 81 attack. I thought it was overhyped as hell when the game was new.

On topic, Spore and Sleep Powder are not extremely useful.

Physical Charizard is not only OU, but is an actual threat that's taken completely seriously.

The regional bird, despite having a x4 Stealth Rock weakness, is the second most used pokemon in OU.

Kangaskhan was quickbanned to Ubers. (not quite factual, I know)

Mandibuzz is used significantly more than Skarmory.

Venasaur is a defensive behemoth.

Pinsir is an offensive behemoth.

It isn't THAT good, but it does have generally the strongest unboosted priority attack in the game. Access to SD or a choice band on TOP of the priority is what makes it so good. It isn't the strongest thing, but it is one of the strongest things in its priority bracket.

On topic: Deoxys-S will never be good enough to make OU.

I mean, it's not godlike, but it's ridiculously easy to use. You can just slap a choice band on it and you have an incredibly useful team member for revenge killing or lategame cleanup.
Then there's the fact that its moveset is pretty good. Bulk Up, WoW, it even learns Taunt. And who knows why it can learn Swords Dance. Then there's solarbeam

If you run ass vest, you fucking EV it with SpDef. This sin't with +SpDef nature, using Relaxed so you have nice defense too without losing attack or sp attack.
