Gen 6 was definitely a vast improvement, I like all 3 of the gen 6 starters for different reasons. The gen 5 starters though? All useless piles of steamy shit in every regard. Ugly designs, useless competetively, boring repetitive typings (pure water, pure grass and of course the infamous fire/fighting for the third time in a row). What a fucking shame, gen 5 was almost entirely a disappointment with a few diamonds in the rough.
