Because the hack check sucks and even picks up legitimate Pokemon as hacks, like my Farfetch'd from Pokemon XD that knows Refresh because it's a special move from that game.

Just breed it to get legit one with a hidden ability.

They can be bred now, so eventually you will get one hack check won't pick up.

Tough Claws boosts Aqua Jet, while Sheer Force does not. Plus you get to keep secondary effects like Ice Punch's Freeze and Crunch's Defense drop. The Tough Claws bonus is also slightly greater than the Sheer Force boost, so Choice sets are stronger with Claws.

The Life Orb thing does mean that Sheer Force Feraligatr can actually go mixed, if anyone ever wanted to try that. I wouldn't.

Passersby battles are considered infrared by the game and not wifi. I will work with any passersby you meet, but you can't take it on battlespot, unfortunately. I've been using one for a while, but I switch it out for azumarill when I go online.
