Masuda writes nearly all main stories and he is a shit writer, he is just a composer and GF is mediocre at delegating personnel. When Masuda doesn't write, it is Takao Unno, an even shitier writer (BW2).
I can comprehend how such an important series that's a best seller doesn't hire proper workers except when it comes to modeling. They blindly trust the original crew, which is not always a good thing.
