So now that pokemon bank/transporter has been out for a while what do you think of them?

Personally, I couldn't help but think "I waited 4 months for this shit?". While the bank features themselves aren't that bad, transferring something from Gen V is an extremely painful, convoluted process that could have easily been streamlined.
