So I just completed my first Nuzlocke of X and Y, and while it was a blast, I have to ask: Is Pokemon Amie cheating? Or is X and Y really that easy?

I lost one Poke the entire game (fucking forgot about Aurourus' 4x Fighting weakness for one god damn second), and just rolled the E4. I thought there would be more close calls than simply that, but maybe because that was because of Amie and EXP ALL. I know it's to each there own with Nuzlockes in general, but I'm wondering your opinions on this.
