How the fuck do I get gameshark codes to work on pokemon yellow? I play it on visual boy advance and I input all the cheats but absolutely nothing happens. I'm just trying to spawn a wild Alakazam because obviously I can't trade my kadabra for it to evolve.

is there a master code or am I missing something?
