Because Psychics are so overpowered in Gen 6, a metagame where U-Turn, Knock Off and Shadow Sneak are everywhere, and where Mega Gengar scares even box art legendaries.

Psychics have been shat off enough, let them have their weak coverage move.

Boo hoo, at least psychic types are halfway decent. Dark types got even more shit then psychic types. A whole new type to counter them (and as OP said: almost every fucking psychic type gets dazzling gleam), u-turn fucks a lot of dark types over, and mega lucario doesn't help too much either.

Something that bugs the shit out of me is Ice Beam's stupidly wide distribution. Almost every fully-evolved Water type learns it. More Water types learn Ice Beam than there are Ice types in the game. Even Pokemon based on tropical shallow water fish (like Luvdisc) learn Ice Beam.

Not only do they get coverage to hit two of the types that resist their STAB, most Water types get the best special Ice attack in the game. It'd be like if every Fire type ever learned Thunderbolt and every Grass type ever learned Surf or Scald.

Then let every Ice type in the game learn Surf. Goodness knows most Ice types would appreciate an actual movepool.

Hey OP, it's called suckerpunch, this wonderful dark type move that hits before any psychic or fairy pokemon 100% of the time, you get STAB on it, and they dont get STAB on the fairy moves.

So riddle me this, if you're bitching about dazzling gleam on an espeon or an alakazam, just remember how many times a bisharp has destroyed a psychic pokemon before it could even move.
