Why are these retards still in the anime? They literally do nothing but waste 5-7 minutes, which could be used for better battling sequences and shit.

I mean, the anime is almost as cookie-cutter as the games are. New region, new friends, new pokemon, and new ways for Team Rocket to be completely and utterly retarded and pointless.

Nobody thinks they're nostalgic. Hell, the kids who grew up watching the first few seasons all think they're unnecessary. They were more sinister back then, now they've just been dumbed down and do nothing but waste time.

I liked their development in BW. I think they should have serrious but not too serious, just after they got degraded for losing to Team Plasma (which was unpublished episode).
More Team Rocket should be shown too, it's the only team which didn't get disbanded.

Man, what I'd give for them to change this formula. I love those three, I really do, character wise they're way more interesting than most of the main characters of any season, but they've been handled like shit for years. I'd much rather not see them for several episodes, and then have them back to do something actually impressive than see them every week being useless idiots. Leave those stupid disguises and bribe people to lure Ash and company to a decent trap for once, or just actually steal pokémon worth the trouble (YEARS trying to get a fucking PIKACHU who will never, no matter what, work with any of them), kidnap or blackmail someone important for more than 5 minutes... There are many things they could do without becoming too dark for a kid's show.
