>>18118344Entry hazards like toxic spikes and stealth rock, supereffective moves like shadow ball and flamethrower, confusion-inducing status moves (supersonic and confuse ray), Curse and Leech Seed, there's so many things that can 1HKO a Shedinja that it all just gets to be so difficult. I prefer to keep mine as a contest pokemon, cause that way he can't get hurt.
The best way to play a shedinja is with the Worry Seed -> Skill Swap -> Sturdy trio, where you hit Shedinja with the Worry Seed to give it Insomnia, have a pokemon on hand that has the Sturdy ability, and skill swap Sturdy and Insomnia so that Shedinja can't be OHKO'd at all, meaning direct attacks don't have any effect whatsoever. Pair it up with those Safety Goggles or Air Lock, maybe paralyze him to keep shedinja from getting burnt or poisoned... you've got a complete tank.
I've seen it in action once. It was... frankly, it was beautiful
