What are some Pokemon that you view as simple cannon fodder in the meta game? Does the label severely impact your choice of using it in your team? How can we fix them?

For example a simple water gun or razor leaf during the meta game would knock these poor rocks out. They're too slow to be a threat to me and I have never been in a battle where these posed a threat... at all. Maybe changing them to pure rock and giving them a boost in sp. Defense would help them last longer for me to see the possible potential these guys have
