>>18122953I really don't know where you're coming from with gen 1 and 2 designs being the best. I'll gie gen 2 had a lot of solid designs (even if a ton of other things about gen 2 are awful), but gen 1 had a dex that was half filled with either mons that were very generic animal designs or mons that were just balls and blobs and evolved into either bigger blobs and balls OR became more blobs and balls.
I say gen 3 has the most consistently good designs, gen 4 probably has some of the worst, gen 5 is a crazy ass mixed bag consisting of flowers, candy, broken glass, and AIDS syringes, gen 1 has a number of really good designs but a lot of incredibly bland stuff, gen 2 is fine in terms of mon design but not much else, and gen 6 has almost no bad designs at all... a shame there are so few mons.
