Does anyone else find it hard to play gen 5 because of the graphics? Specifically the pixelated sprites. It looks awful

Its harder to play XY because there is actually nothing to play anymore but BW2 has enough post game to still be playable today.

And graphics don't look as bad as I thought they would after trying gen VI

I've been replaying BW1&2 to capture the legendaries for my best friend and I and I agree, I've found it a bit taxing to play through it just for the legendaries.
Loved them don't get me wrong, but after XY, graphically it's a chore to play.

HGSS would be some of the best games period if they'd just fixed the fucking level scaling issue.

Black and White's sprites do look a little jarring if you've just been playing Gen VI, but they look perfectly fine once you play a bit and readjust.

They did increase the Kanto Leaders' levels by about 15 - 20. Same with trainers throughout Kanto - they are all in the low-40s, while in GSC they were in the mid-20s.

That's definitely true, I just felt like it should have been more like Black and White 2 where you have the Elite Four in the mid 50s-60s and then the postgame region where trainers and wild pokemon are in rougly the same range.

How were the levels on Mt. Silver? I haven't been there in a long time.

Same as GSC: 40 - 52.

But I don't see how you can care about levels of wild Pokemon. The leaders got a boost, so did every trainer AND Red. Also rematches with even higher levels. Couldn't care less if there are level 2 Pidgey around. But that's just me.a

B2/W2 is a bit better but I realized how fucking shitty Unova is, not to mention you can't rematches with gym leaders outside of PWT (which is honestly the best part of B2W2).

Level grinding potential mostly. There's still a fairly big gulf between Victory Road, the Elite Four and the Kanto Gym Leaders without a good place to make up the ground.
