I can think five reason, but you wouldn't think they are "good".

You can't be too careful, though. Think about it. When you are withdrawing some pokemon with a PC outside, some goons come out and mug you off them.

At least in the daycare center, there is a lot of mating pokemons to deal with such situation.

Just go and stay go. And IV mean nothing - one stat is random anyways, and ability can still change so if the game decides to screw with you you can waste days to actually breed a mon you need.
