As their journey continues, Ash does some training with Froakie. During said training, they encounter a ninja trained named Sanpei and his Pokémon, Froakie's evolved form Frogadier. Ash challenges Sanpei to a Pokémon battle, but ends up beaten. However, wanting to teach Froakie the move "Quick Attack", which Frogadier used during the battle, he asks Sanpei to teach him the "essence of fighting". Can our retard and chill-as-fuck frog overcome these fearsome Narutoads?
