Getting into Pokemon again. Is there any way to beat Misty with just a Charmeleon? Obviously the cards are stacked against me, but Im level 28 so 10 or more levels above her Pokemon. I dont feel like raising another Pokemon so any advice? What strategy would you use?

Also, how do special stats in this game work? If I use "Leer" to lower their defense, will that only lower their defense to normal attacks, or to all attacks like Ember or Water Gun?

Also, random question: in the original Red/Blue is there a healer on the SS Anne? If not what happens if you die?
