Shellder was my first MM shiny took me 2 eggs, wasnt even oing for it at that time really.
My second was Bagon and it hatched this Sunday on the 406th egg.

Haven't tried again ever since, looking for another mon to try again though

I don't have anything against you guys that want legit shinies and all, but I just don't see what's so rewarding about hatching hundreds and hundreds of eggs on Kalos Bike Simulator.

I remember when I just randomly ran into a shiny Nincada in Ruby in gen 3 (guy's still with me now), that was exciting as fuck. Really wish they just kept it that way myself.

I guess I kinda get that, I think I preferred it when seeing a shiny was a special thing, though. Pokegen and even MM really did ruin it, IMO. I liked it when it was more of a "holy shit a shiny" when you saw one. Small part of me wishes they just wiped the slate with poketransfer, though I guess there would've been tons of rage over that.

ahh let me tell you about my luck. I wish I could post pictures of this shit, but don't have a camera on me so I can't, but just today I hatched two shiny chespins merely 10 boxes away from each other even though I was still IV breeding (going from a 4iv mother trying to find a 5iv one) at egg #19 and then egg #29, crazy fucking shit. Also just last night I hatched my shiny protean froakie in my 12th box and I caught a shiny wartortle in the friend safari shortly afterwards.

No seriously, my first and so far only MM attempt was a shiny Beldum in BW and I got it after like 28 eggs or something.

I dont bother because it needs to be (1/6 +1/32)*.6*.5 or 6% probability of being the exact shiny that I want with correct nature, pentaperfect, and correct gender.

I hatched 8 pentaperfect shinies in a week using instacheck

Similar story here. I'd been simply breeding goomies, still trying to get a pentaperfect, when after around 3 boxes of no luck I somehow managed to get a shiny goomy. Even better was that it turned out to be pentaperfect. Later that day while I was IV training my new Goodra, I happened to run into a shiny Nosepass in FS. Both of these were my first Gen VI shinnies. Currently MMing for a shiny Pumpkaboo.
