Psychic, you have two fighting pokemon and no real counters to it, would be an interesting match up.

Dragon: HP ice is looking better and better, else you cant do too much
Ghost: You should be ok, scarfing or specing Chandelure might be an idea

You're more likely to see Venusaur because he's an essentially component of any Poison team. Ground and Steel have plenty of options outside of Excadrill.

Seriously though what did you expect? Normal is boss tier. Dragons will destroy you if you don't prepare for them, though. Also Dark types. Ghost is actually a pretty good matchup. Honestly, the hardest part is just picking 6! So many good options.

Destiny Bond
purely designed for checking non-fire type physical threats and then when they switch to a special attacker/go for the kill, you destiny bond them.
It's a sure way to mess with the opponents team and get one or two KO's.
Lack of recovery isn't so bad as one might think, as Banette's offensive options are sadly too limited to sweep.
