I have to say... this is the best version. The story is interesting, graphics are great, but not choppy like Black & White. Works great and not too far off from the originals!

Platinum is the best.

I played Platinum on an emulator. Definitely better than Diamond/Pearl, but I stopped playing after the game crashed and I forgot to save for the previous hour. I should probably go back and finish sometime.

I agree. Even though I really liked X/Y, I think Gen IV was the PEAK of the Pokemon franchise. It got everything right between Platinum and HG/SS.

Gen V was arguably the lowest point in the franchise.
