Reporting in for this weekend, hatched 330 Magikarps this week to no shiny... However, I had to get around to breeding Célérité (the successor to Rapidite, my signature Jolteon) and on the third egg I got a shiny Eevee. It didn't have what I needed unfortunately, but I donated it to my girlfriend, so that was a pleasant suprise. Hope to get my 5IV Goldkarp this weekend, settling in for the long haul.

Posting the shiny sheet for anyone that wants to refer to it, I have asked for it so many times I figured I should give back this time.

That happened to me once! I was trying to start a wonderlocke, but where I kept my starter, since I wanted to try training a Chespin, and I accidentally started a trade trying to trade away chespin. I soft reset after they had already shown me who I was gonna trade to, and when I turned the game on, I had a Bunnelby and no chespin. Shit sucks.

I don't see why you'd need both Dragon Claw and Ice Fang. Ice Fang gives better coverage and a Strong Jaw boost. Dragon Claw may get STAB, but Steel-types resist it and Fairy-tpes are immune to it, so that can switch in and take no damage. I'd recommend Head Smash as a STAB move and Earthquake as a coverage move. Then again, if you'd rather avoid the recoil damage from Head Smash you could try out Rock Slide or Stone Edge and an accuracy boosting hold item.

I don't know how good Tyrantrum is in Doubles, but I suppose if you had a Mat Block/Wide Guard partner you could use it to your advantage to set up with Dragon Dance then go EQ, Rock Slide and one of the Fangs (though admittedly, this is pretty much a set used for Singles). Hi there, guys!
I'm doing MM with numel.
I'm in the box 12. I didn't remember doing Masuda checking the pokemon was so hard.
When I finish a box, I look at them, if they have 5 speed, 5 defense or 4 Sp defense, they are imperfect and I release them.
If they have 12/6/6/6/5/6, they could be perfect, so I don't release them.

After releasing some imperfect pokemon, I go with my 20-25 pokemon to the judge and check all of them. If they are 6 Iv i keep them, but I release them if they aren't.

This is annoying... When I did MM for Hawlucha I got 3 boxes of 5IV Hawluchas, then just released every hawlucha that wasn't shiny until my 72nd box, easy.

How many pokemon do you keep? Do you check the pokemon you hatch? I'm curious.

Thank you, good luck to you. I got the shiny charm a few weeks ago so that's at least gotten me a couple wild shinies. I'm too far ahead in the MM to quit so even if I have to be someone who gets theirs at box 60 or 70 I feel like I need to get it so all the time spent was worth it.

Been looking forward to this weekend!
I got X on Monday to play in Japanese, only just started. Decided to do a mystery egg run and ended up with Bagon, Cacnea, Growlithe, Phanpy, Kabuto and Beldum. Pretty sweet

Went back to Y to chain Flabebe

>Get chain to what I think is 40
>Two more resets
>Shiny patch
>BOOM, shiny white flower Flabebe

With three perfect IVs, I'd later find out!
She's now a Florges, which means that Lily and I now have TWO very similar shinies in common

Aaaand as soon as I start EV training, along comes Hoppip.
All in all a good week!

I've also made an actual list - will post it soon, need some input from you guys

Just got finished EV training it so it's a Diggersby right now. BTW, I managed to catch a shiny Zangoose while EV training my shiny bunny. Nearly gave me a heart attack when I heard the shiny noise while hearing the Seviper/Zangoose cries.

Didn't get any (nearly didn't hunt due to problems IRL), but managed to transfer most of my romhack shinies, including my six Shiny Eevees who all evolved (Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Umbreon, Leafeon and Sylveon). The only ones that are still stuck on BW2 are Vulpix (honestly don't know why), Jirachi and Meloetta (shiny legendaries, less surprising).
