>>18190522We spent 8 hilarious hours watching 30k people trying to get 8 right, 3 up moves in without a single down move to make it past a ledge to the rock tunnel. After we made it, at least twice that I witnessed, we died to trainers or just fucking hopped back down a few minutes later.
We got hours of hilarity, inside jokes, and comics from the experience.
When we got to the safari zone, it didn't take more than a couple of hours before they forced in the exact sequence to pick up surf and bolt the fuck out of there.
How memorable was that?
We could have filled up box 1 with 30 nidorans and then witness the hilarity of trying to change boxes without fucking up. We could have caught a fucking Tauros and watch the stream try to retrieve it. We could have experienced literally anything than what occurred.
I think the unfortunate thing is that a large percentage of the stream did not burn hundreds of hours of their youth in red/blue. To them, there is actual motivation to proceed. They WANT to get to Cinnabar because they've never been in this game.
To the rest of us, we know every pixel of the game and the hilarity is watching 70k+ people trying to work through it, not the immediate progression to the next goal.
