Team building is a skill-rigorous process. It is a strategic choice to choose to use 1 team slot to pick klefki that will be able to shut down physical attackers and make it hard to swords dance before the right time. It takes skill to choose this and make it synergize with the rest of your team, just as it takes skill to choose any other pokemon instead, while still building a good overall team.
Yeah it doesn't take skill to click a fucking button, but by that measure then NOTHING is skilled. What's skilled is knowing when to bring klefki out, knowing when to hide him, and knowing what important threats he is stopping your enemy from using. If you can hide klefki all match as an imminent threat, then Pinsir will probably never get an opportunity for a safe sweep. that's huge, and if you have the SKILL to make the right decisions that are able to protect klefki so he doesn't have to come out early, YOU WILL WIN.
It takes skill to strategize just like any other strategy. I still don't know why you hate this more than Stone Miss, Focus Miss, Hypnomiss, Hydro Miss, and the list goes on. Relatively the same overall accuracy, and paralyze + confusion edges out over many of these in terms of the odds, yet you don't call poor accuracy moves "unskilled."
