Maybe if you had found a job at the PokeMart instead of spending your entire life battling...anyway, that's not the point. You are going to rob a bank with the first three Pokemon you have chosen. The fourth, you say? Well, let's just say you'll find out later.
The very first Pokemon you thought of plans the bank heist. (For this case, let's say it will be able to communicate with you.) It tells you exactly what to do during the robbery for success, and you follow its orders.
The second Pokemon you thought of is the only one who will actually be robbing the bank with you. It is the ONLY WEAPON you have with you at the robbery, you can't use any other Pokemon nor real-life weapons such as firearms. You will use it to intimidate the people in the bank and you can order it to use any of its attacks against those who try to stand in your way. It can also defend you from attackers.
The third Pokemon you thought of is your transportation, your getaway ride. Once you grab the money and go the police will be hot on your heels, and you need to escape using the third Pokemon. (The second Pokemon will be in its Poke Ball in your pocket.)
Now, the fourth Pokemon. The fourth Pokemon will be the one who attempts to stop you. You have to battle it using your second Pokemon. If your second Pokemon can't win the fight, you have to try and get away with your third. If your third Pokemon is too slow, well, you're fucked.
