Growlithe was a bit annoying to train since you can't evolve it before lvl 45 when it learns Flare Blitz. Arcanine, however, is extremely good and wrecks shit really well. Flare Blitz and Outrage already mean that nothing is safe, but it also gets Extreme Speed, Wild Charge, and Crunch.
Magnezone has shitloads of Sp. Attack and destroys pretty much everything in its way. Highly recommended. Magnemite takes care of the second gym nicely thanks to its Poison immunity. No brakes on the rape train.
And speaking of rape trains, we have Crobat. When it learns Acrobatics (which it does quite early, around lvl 30, can't remember the exact level), nobody is safe. STAB Acrobatics is so absurdly powerful that you have pretty much no reason to use other moves. My Crobat knows X-Scissor but I hardly ever used it since STAB Acrobatics is more powerful than super effective X-Scissor. BW2 also have surprisingly many Fighting-types, and thus Crobat remains as one of the most useful Pokemon throughout the whole game.
Sawsbuck is my new bro. Slap a Wide Lens on it to make Jump Kick 100% accurate and raise Megahorn's accuracy above 90% and you're good to go. It has powerful STAB Return and Horn Leech for healing. Bro/10, highly recommended. Just keep it away from the many Fighting-types that you encounter during your journey.
