Has anyone wondered, now that clefairy is no longer a normal pokemon, what will happen to Whitney's gym?

Either retconned into a Fairy type gym leader with Clefable or Granbull as her signature Pokemon or she stays a normal type Gym leader and Clefairy is replaced with Jigglypuff.

In the games it was said that Jasmine used to be a Rock Gym until Steel was discovered in Gen II. Forgot how they re-vamped this in HG/SS.

If we ever see her gym again (doubtful) it'll probably be remodeled into the shape of a Miltank or something. I don't think she'd change her Gym's type, though it's possible.

Miltank has always been her signature Pokemon though. Not Clefairy.

Whitney's signature is Miltank, not Clefairy.

And it doesn't matter if a Gym leader has some non-fitting type Pokémon besides Pokémon of her type (Sabrina with Venomoth, Cilan/Cress/Chili with Lillipup).

So they won't give a fuck.

Although I normally think dual-type gym leaders is a dumb fucking idea, I think the most appropriate thing to do would be make her a fairy and normal type leader.
