There needs to be a physical solar beam that Groudon can learn. That way it can actually fight with Kyogre.

If you want some Flare Blitz goodness, just use Darmanitan. He has 140 base attack compared to Groudon's 150, STAB and Sheer Force to boost the power.

Agreed. Always thought it was full retard that kyogre pretty much always decimates groudon and they are set up as two evenly matched rivals or whatever.

A more unrealistic albeit awesome alternative is to go the freeze dry route and make a ground type move exclusive to groudon that is SE against water types.

What would Garchomp normally run anyway to deal with Skarmory, stone edge?

Besides, without Draco it changes from "what about skarm" to "what about every physical wall"

to this day I believe GF made garchomp to destroy the other pseudos. Every other pseudos is balanced in some way, garchomp was designed to be insanely overpowered.

It's to prevent being locked in Outrage if your opponent has a fairy on their team, and I'm p sure you'd still want to carry outrage on Garchomp anyway since that's always been his way of hitting like a ton of bricks.

I don't actually know, I've heard sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't, it has a weird mechanic.

I think the way it works is that if you deal no damage on the first turn of outrage, then you're not confused and locked in, but if you've already done damage you still become confused.
