I have a stroke in that I remember him taking SE damage from Water attacks, leading me to believe that Water was SE against Steel for the whole duration of 3rd gen, then I thought they removed it on 4th to nerf water.

Strangely, years later I learned that there never was a weakness to Water from Steel in the first place. But I distinctly remember how I used to SE Magnetons with my Swampert with Surf.
