Just harvested a ton of starfs and lansats.

My worst farming mistake was not saving after I got and planted a couple of rare battle only berries. Gaaaah

I do my best to always have a stock of Lepa berries (handy for battles like E4, the berry pots in HG/SS were a fucking godsend) so I planted a full column thing (one of the halves) in X, and put probably a solid 3 hours in just planting, fertilizing, weeding, and repeating, due to expectations of a difficult E4 needing lots of PP recovery.

Biggest waste of time to date.

In the Gen III Hoenn games I had berry farming down to an art. I picked the most easy accessible places, studied the time intervals that Berries shifted into their different phases and went from their. Each Berry had over 200 stock in my bag. I never used Mulch in Gen IV games but I was really glad when they raised the max number of certain berries. Really hated that shit like Leichi only gave you two in Gen III games.

Also, why the hell can you only make 3 mulch at a time? I should be able to stick 30 berries in at once and get enough mulch for my whole field at once if i want.

Serebii has an easy to read list that has the effects of each berry as well as its growing time. I find it very helpful. It's also organized based on the organize option in the game, so it's a snap to see if you're missing any.
