Do any of you run thematic groups? Be it in the regular game or online? It might only be for LOL roleplay reasons, but given how trainers have "themes"...

You'll want sun support considering you're mono fire.
Plus, you already have a setup sweeper in Volcorona.

Only use Dinosaurs, or prehistoric-themed Pokemon.

IE:

>Mamoswine
>Raikou
>Yanmega
>MegaAerodactyl
>Gensect

You could probably do Medeival/Fantasy with Pokemon like Aegislash, Excavalier and MegaGardeviour.

I love themes like that.

Or Lion King like Pic Related.

I've run a 'beauty' themed team with Milotic, Serperior, Mienshao, Ninetales, Froslass and Vivillon.

I also like royalty themes and stuff like that. I've also been wanting to try for a monochromatic black/white sort of thing, but we'll see how that goes.

It's pretty easy to go through Smogon and pick out a bunch of OU tier pokemon and win with that. I like the idea of creating a theme list and going through the game with that. It's like you're a real trainer.

i've been working on a dragon themed team (as in, dragon types and pokemon that just look like dragons) - the original idea was to use mega aggron and av offensive goodra as my core, but since aggron is so dependant on latias' wishpassing i've been considering just switching latias to a specially defensive support set and dropping goodra in favour of something else

also switcheroo specs noivern is my favourite gliscor counter - once it's choice locked it might as well be ko'd already
