It's still possible to trade and battle on gen5 using wireless and IR, right? What about gen4? Also I was never even able to play Conquest multiplayer. Feels bad.

Brawl random matchup was worthless, but it was fun with friends.
XY have crappy 3D compared to battle revolution.
XY has no announcer, no light effects (they actually look quite great), the XY "virtual reality" arena looks boring compared to having actually a choice in the arenas and the 3D models in XY look like crap compared to PBR... And somehow I like the Trainermodels in PBR more then Calem or Serena and the Trainerpasses more then having 1 Onlinebattle Box and your Team as a choice.

Of course the console games (whose main selling point was 3D; fuck, PBR didn't even have a story like Stadium) focused primarily on the 3D presentation, and thus did it better. That was the point.
